Well seems they might be back on again, not that they were ever really on to start with. What do you guys think?
The Dallas Cowboys quarterback heard 27-year-old Simpson was in Texas to record her new country album and begged her father-manager for a date with his daughter.
A friend tells the New York Post's Page Six, "Joe and Tony have been friendly for a while. Joe is a huge Dallas Cowboy fan, and Tony has always had a crush on her -- he even said on his Web site like a year ago that it was his dream to date her. Jessica has been in Nashville and Dallas recording her new country album. When Tony found out, he called Joe and said, 'I know she's not dating anyone right now, can I take her out for a drink at least?'
"Jessica said it was OK for Joe to give Tony her number and they hit it off. They've been dating for a couple of weeks now, and Jessica is so happy. She's been texting everyone about how great he is."

They also just got back from Vegas. Tony had a big game to play right after but instead of resting he chose to go to Vegas with Jess. They r definitely an item but I think somehow this is all for publicity and Joe is behind it.

Jessica Simpson wants to do a country duet with Tony Romo
It’s now being rumored that Jessica Simpson wants to record a country duet with her football star boyfriend, Tony Romo. Jessica is currently recording her next country album and has asked Tony to join her.
Sources say that Jessica has been schooled in publicity tricks by her dad, Joe Simpson, and knows that a duet with Tony will attract a lot of attention.

Will pappa Joe Simpson ruin Jessica's relationship?
Friends of Jessica Simpson and Dallas Cowboy beau Tony Romo worry that pappa Joe Simpson may be on the cusp of ruining another relationship for his daughter after accompanying the couple on their Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, getaway.
"It's weird that Joe was on vacation with them," a Simpson family friend told Life & Style. "But he oversteps his bounds all the time, and Jess lets him."
"Joe just can't leave Jess's love life alone," added another insider. This second family friend confided that the overprotective pop meddled with both John Mayer and Jess's ex-husband, Nick Lachey, "causing huge problems in both relationships."
Jessica's latest heartthrob seemed to be OK with the deal.
"Tony just laughed," the first friend told the magazine. "He knows Joe's one of his biggest fans, and he wants to have a good relationship with him. So if Joe wanted to hang out with them in Cabo, no way Tony was going to say no."
However, the second Simpson insider predicted that it wouldn't be long before dad wears out his welcome.
"Tony likes Joe," said the Simpson family informant. "But at some point he's going to get sick of Joe hanging around and all the calls and family get-togethers."

Football player Tony Romo has tried to call it quits with Jessica Simpson.
Singer Jessica Simpson and football player Tony Romo may not be the perfect couple many make them out to be. Apparently, quarterback Romo called Simpson about a week ago, trying to end their romance. OK! magazine quoted a friend of Simpson's as saying that the true breaking point occurred when Romo said he would not move to L.A. to be near Simpson, and Simpson alternately refused to leave L.A. to be near him. OK! quotes the friend as deciding, "It was the moment he realized it wasn't going to work with Jessica in the long term." The same sources say that Simpson was not going to go quietly, and convinced her beau to give them another chance. OK! also reports that the Dallas Cowboys star reportedly tried to convince Simpson that it was over by ... inviting her on a date? With some gutsy humor, he allegedly invited her to go hunting over the weekend, sans "entourage" and home comforts, reportedly hoping it would encourage her to give up! Romo and Simpson have undergone heavy scrutiny since their high-profile romance began. Simpson has received a lot of flack for her role, and a high amount of blame (regardless of whether or not his performance had anything to do with her) for Romo's performances.

While his team didn’t make it to the big game, Tony Romo didn’t seem too concerned… he got to spend Super Bowl Sunday with his beautiful girlfriend Jessica Simpson.

Why does Tony have his head down like he doesnt want to be seen with her? Also in the one picture it looks like shes pulling him along. He should be proud to be with her!

Jess and Tony Let Another Couple Have the Spotlight
Fresh from her trip to Kuwait, Jessica Simpson traded in her army fatigues for a LBD to attend a wedding with Tony Romo over the weekend. Tony looks like he was really enjoying the festivities, but we can't blame him since the groom was his Cowboys teammate Bobby Carpenter. It's pretty endearing to see Jess taking a break from the Hollywood lifestyle to play down-to-earth girlfriend to Tony in Ohio, even if it means tucking him in after a night of partying a little too hard.
