I was reading the new Glamour of the month Magazine and in the interview with Jess they asked her what would be next for her. She replied that there was one project that she loved. That it was not a remake, but a take on to "Working Girl". She says it will probobly be shot in New York City and that she wanted to be the lead. She says that she thinks she is ready to do that. She states that her dad read the script and that it is really great. She also said she trusts him on this........ So I guess we can be looking at the New Working girl soon(Jesssica Simpson)...........Do you guys think that she is really capable of pulling it off. I mean I love Jess but I don't know if her acting ability is all that great. I have yet to see employee of the month but I did watch the Dukes Of hazard and she really wasn't all that great. She looked Great but her acting really sucked. What do you guys think????????

We all known jessica is a talented singer, i think she needs to stick with what shes good at, dukes of hazard flopped, well see how employee of the month does... but i just dont think acting is her thing. The only roles shed be good at is playing someone similiar to herself

Personally if I was a singer and has all these acting opportunities , I'd take them for sure! I'm proud of her for once for going beyond what she could easily do and take a challenge!

I AGREE it's great that she is taking a challenge upon herself. I think that this will be good for her....in every aspect of her life and where it is going at this point...If she proves herself this could lead to the startom of her new career, not only in singing but acting. This could make her career boom...Good for her and Best of Luck to her aswell. I think this is just what she needs right now, espeacially after her divorce from Nick.
